Objectives:

To encourage young musicians to polish their playing, strive for excellence and exceed their current levels, and most importantly, to spread our passion for the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and his sons.

期望年輕音樂家透過參加「BACHannalia 音樂比賽 2025」，建立力臻完美、精益求精的態度。亦希望透過此比賽，宏揚音樂之父巴哈 (Johann Sebastian Bach) 及其兒子的音樂。

Groups 組別

  • Young musicians aged 5 to 18 of any instrument are welcome to participate. 

    Group A1: One piece from ABRSM’s current Grade 1 syllabus

    Group A2: One piece from ABRSM’s current Grade 2 syllabus

    Group A3: One piece from ABRSM’s current Grade 3 syllabus

    Group A4: One piece from ABRSM’s current Grade 4 syllabus

    Group A5: One piece from ABRSM’s current Grade 5 syllabus

    Group A6: One piece from ABRSM’s current Grade 6 syllabus

    Group A7: One piece from ABRSM’s current Grade 7 syllabus

    Group A8: One piece from ABRSM’s current Grade 8 syllabus

    歡迎任何 5 至 18 歲的年輕音樂家 (任何樂器) 參加。

    A1 組：任何一首選自皇家音樂學院 1 級現時考試範圍的歌曲

    A2 組：任何一首選自皇家音樂學院 2 級現時考試範圍的歌曲

    A3 組：任何一首選自皇家音樂學院 3 級現時考試範圍的歌曲

    A4 組：任何一首選自皇家音樂學院 4 級現時考試範圍的歌曲

  • Young pianists aged 5 to 18 are welcome. 

    Group B1:
    One complete piano solo work of ATCL or ARSM in Music Performance level (or equivalent). Maximum duration of the music is 10 minutes 00 second.

    Group B2:
    One complete piano solo work of LTCL or LRSM in Music Performance level (or equivalent). Maximum duration of the music is 15 minutes 00 second.

    Group B3:
    One complete piano solo work of FTCL or FRSM in Music Performance level (or equivalent). Maximum duration of the music is 20 minutes 00 second.

    歡迎任何 5 至 18 歲的年輕音樂家參加。

    B1 組：一首完整 ATCL、ARSM 或相等程度的鋼琴獨奏歌曲。音樂最長時長為10分00秒。

    B2 組：一首完整 LTCL、LRSM 或相等程度的鋼琴獨奏歌曲。音樂最長時長為15分00秒。

    B3 組：一首完整 FTCL、FRSM 或相等程度的鋼琴獨奏歌曲。音樂最長時長為20分00秒。

  • Ensembles of 2 to 5 musicians are welcome. Music selected must be composed by Johann Sebastian Bach or his sons (CPE Bach, JC Bach, etc) 

    Group C1: participants must be 5-8 years old.
    Maximum duration of the music is 6 minutes 00 second.

    Group C2: participants must be 9-12 years old.
    Maximum duration of the music is 9 minutes 00 second.

    Group C3: participants must be 13-15 years old.
    Maximum duration of the music is 12 minutes 00 second.

    Group C4: participants must be 16-18 years old.
    Maximum duration of the music is 15 minutes 00 second.

    歡迎年輕音樂家組成二至五人的室樂組合。所選音樂必須由巴哈 (Johann Sebastian Bach) 或其兒子 (例如 CPE Bach、JC Bach 等) 創作。

    C1 組：參加者年齡必須是 5-8。

Submission

Videos must be submitted 23:59 (GMT+8)
on 2 August 2025 the latest. 

Any late submission, regardless of reasons, will not be accepted.

Awards & Prizes

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards will be granted to the contestants for their achievements:

Gold Award (90-100 marks);
Silver Award (80-89 marks);
Bronze Award (70-79 marks);
Merit Award (60-69 marks)
Best Teacher Award

* The number of award winners will be decided by the judges whose decision on the results shall be final.

* Any contestants who score 60 or above will be awarded a certificate.

* Contestant(s) who score(s) the highest of each group will be awarded a trophy.

我們將按參賽者的表現頒發金、銀、銅獎：

金獎 (90-100分)；
銀牌 (80-89分)；
銅獎 (70-79分)；
優異獎 (60-69分)
傑出老師獎

* 評審對結果的決定為最終決定。比賽結果由評審作最終決定，參賽者對比賽結果、獎項，及得獎人數不能異議。

* 凡獲得60分或以上的參賽者，均可獲頒證書。

* 每組別得分最高的參賽者將獲得獎盃乙座。

Entry fee includes a certificate, and a trophy (if any).
